Web Design Fees

Please keep in mind that all prices are ballpark figures and are to be used only as a reference to help you decide how to put together a budget. The cost of your site will depend on the specific services you require to ensure your concept or corporate image is properly presented to the world. After a consultation to look at an outline of your proposed site, we assess how to best work together. At that stage, we will be able to put together a more coherent quote. To begin work on your site, we require a 30% deposit. For a small site (less than 10 pages) the balance will be due upon completion of the work and your approval. For medium size sites (11 to 50 pages) monthly progress payments are required. Larger sites need further discussion to assess a fee payment schedule.

Web design fees are based on your providing us with work ready for web coding — i.e., text that does not require editing or proofreading, clean images, and so on. Any additional work carried out by us is subject to standard professional fees applicable to quality work.

• Coding for page layout (text and images) $120 per page
• Text editing and copy writing $100 per hour
• Image manipulation $100 per hour
• Flash animations $200 - $500 (depending on complexity)
• Windows Media Player and Quicktime $10 per minute
• Site content updates $100 per hour

Video Production

Whether you are considering a corporate training video, TV commercial, infommercial, or even a documentary TV series, we are equipped for high quality yet reasonably cost-effective production.

Our video production facilities are built around the Canon XL1 DV camera. Video editing is entirely digital, which facilitates morphing and other special effects. We prepare masters on mini-DV tape, which offers superb quality for both DVD and television broadcast. Where necessary, we work with the tech people at TV stations to ensure excellent picture and sound.

With more and more of your potential customers switching to high bandwidth internet access, there is a growing trend to incorporate video into web sites. As yet, the quality of web-based video is not as good as DVD, simply because the technology necessary to broadcast such quality over the internet is cost-prohibitive. However, the unavoidable reduction of quality is made less noticeable by starting with everything clean and sharp.
